MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He has made major global breakthroughs into the Latin pop culture. His 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu was the winner of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for Favorite Song in 2017. In 2017, he released ADN, his first long-player to La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album reached the number 8 spot at the top of the Top Latin Albums chart. The following year he joined Ozuna in The Top Five smash Vaina Loca. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel for Mala Influencia and debuted the album Dopamina that year. In 2021, he also performed an duet with TINI's streaming hit track Maldita Foto. 2000 saw him perform the hit hit La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was born into music-loving family. His older brother and mother are each musicians. According to him, musicality was a mandatory part of his life. He was taught how to play the guitar, saxophone ukulele and keyboard as an infant. His original plan of action was to become a vet But his older brother Julian persuaded him to learn to sing by working with an instructor from a Cuban instructor. The end result, learning that he possessed an aptitude for singing, changed his path in life.
